About
My essay's explore topics of people, ideas and the power structures behind what we see. From the politics of a runway to the influence of an artist, the history behind a piece of clothing, or the cultural meaning of something we might otherwise overlook.
With a fascination towards American and Middle Eastern Politics, Animal Conservation, and the worlds of Fashion and Art; one of my more 'niche' interests concerns defence technology. I'm driven by purpose as much as by creativity. I'm confident in my independent vision and judgment, while also knowing how to collaborate when it elevates the work. I will bring originality, clarity, and direction to every project I touch!
Beyond my creative and strategic attributes, I'm also a strong and disciplined sportswoman. I have experience across Tennis, Swimming, Gymnastics, Hockey and Muay Thai to name a few, sports that have shaped my resilience, focus, and competitive drive. This athletic foundation strengthens how I show up in leadership: mentally tough, goal-oriented, and consistent under pressure.
I graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) International Relations and Politics. Over the course of the degree I developed a strong interest in international security, U.S. and Middle Eastern foreign policy and conflict studies.
Dissertation
The extent to which Liberalism and Securitisation shaped U.S. interventionism in Afghanistan (2001) and Iraq (2003), and how this affected an American-led world order.
It examined how the United States justified military intervention following 9/11, using the theoretical frameworks of liberalism and the Copenhagen School of securitisation. Through the case studies of Afghanistan and Iraq, I argued that liberal values often functioned as a means of legitimising intervention, while the realities of conflict exposed significant contradictions between rhetoric and practice.
Fashion, art and politics, and the places where the three of them meet. Mostly about what clothing carries, and who is credited for it.
